shakespeare's desert island discs ...
A life-changing painting which began life as long-planned series of paintings about witches, still to be created, only to be viewed in moonlight.
As the first painting progressed William Shakespeare suddenly appeared, fully-formed, sitting on a beach and playing the pipes of Pan. First shown at The Bankside Gallery, it was seen by a Director of Shakespeare's Globe Theatre and resulted in our exhibition "Shakespeare's Treasure" at The Globe exhibition centre. The show was open for 12 months and visited by over 350,000 people. (See "Shakespeare's Treasure" page).
In a private collection, not for sale.
